What is the Open Day?
On Sunday August 6, at the heart of the World Assembly, the Open Day is a time of conviviality designed to enable all companions who wish to do so to meet the delegates from all over the world present at the Assembly.
It is also an opportunity for Father Sosa, Superior General of the Society of Jesus and World Assistant of the Christian Life Community, to speak to the entire world community, and to meet the delegates and assistants of each national community.
Who is it for?
On Sunday August 6, CLC companions from some twenty countries will join the delegates to experience the global dimension of our Community. Over a thousand people will pray together, wandering the streets of Amiens to meet other companions engaged in one of CLC’s frontiers: globalization and poverty, ecology, family, youth. A mass in the cathedral will be presided over by the Superior General of the Society of Jesus. This will be followed by a time of festive and fraternal sharing at the Lycée La Providence.
